Construction of a temporary arena – London Olympic Games
For the 2012 London Olympic Games, we built a 100 m x 100 m x 30 m high arena. This turnkey solution was managed from A to Z by our teams.


For the 2012 London Olympic Games, we built a 100 m x 100 m x 30 m high arena. This turnkey solution was managed from A to Z by our teams.
To enable LOU Rugby to play in the TOP14, GL Events designed and built a new sports infrastructure in just 82 days. Consisting of two covered stands, this new 8,000-seat stadium with 32 open boxes and a catering area was a real feat.
GL Events teams have installed three semi-permanent covered stands to allow the club, which has been promoted, to play in the Pro D2 category. With a total capacity of 500 seats, these stands are covered by 30 m x 8 m structures. A 400 m² reception area has also been installed.
Following on from phase 1 carried out by our teams in 2014 (2,500 covered grandstand seats), the club is continuing its expansion with the creation of a new grandstand.
In order to support Rochelais Stadium’s professional team’s progression, the club has developed its infrastructure by increasing its seating capacity and the surface area of its partner areas.
In order to increase the seating capacity and the surface area allocated to VIP areas, the famous Castres Olympique club called on GL Events to build a three-storey covered grandstand with a capacity for up to 2,779 spectators, including 21 seats for mobility impaired persons and 21 closed VIP boxes.

Turnkey installation of a complete village with a surface area of 5,500 m² for LOU Rugby when they moved to Matmut Stadium in Gerland in 2017: refreshment stalls, brasserie, shop, ticket office and reception areas. As part of this permanent installation, our teams provided supporters with a permanent 200 m² Lou Rugby shop.
The Mangin-Beaulieu Sports Complex hosts several of Nantes’ sports clubs, including Hermine Nantes Basket. This team, which made it possible to bring together all the facilities needed by professional clubs, lacked a specific area for receiving supporters before and after sports events.
